Slang for amazing includes words like fire, dope, sick, lit, unreal, GOAT, slay, ate, and bussin’ `but the best choice depends on what you are praising. After years of following texting slang, internet language, Gen Z vocabulary, and everyday American English, I’ve learned that using the newest word is less important than using the right…
CF meaning text depends on context. In casual social-media conversations, CF can mean “Close Friends,” especially around Instagram Stories; in a work or planning chat, it may mean “confirm”; and in formal writing, cf. means “compare,” from the Latin confer. That is why seeing two letters in a message can create surprisingly much confusion. The…

Mississippi slang is a colorful mix of Southern expressions, regional vocabulary, family language, food terms, humor, and newer internet slang. Words such as y’all, fixin’ to, holler, bless your heart, cattywampus, nabs, buggy, and sho’ nuff can instantly create a distinctly Southern conversational feel. If you want the most common slang for mustache, start with stache or ’stache. Other terms include mo, tash, cookie duster, soup strainer, lip sweater, crumb catcher, flavor saver, lip rug, and mouth brow. Some are established informal words, while others are humorous nicknames. I’ve found that mustache vocabulary gets surprisingly personal: one person hears…

Singular dawg usually refers to one friend or works as a casual way to address someone, while dawgs refers to several friends. In American slang, the spelling signals an informal, friendly meaning rather than literal animals. If you have ever seen…
